Twitter On Fire
There is a great deal of discussion about whether sex trafficker and pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide, or was murdered. OMG, if you have been on Twitter; or watching the 24/7 cable news, over the last week, the hue and cry has been thundering. The conspiracy theories are flying, and they aren’t flattering to many high profile men, such as Prince Andrew, Alan Dershowitiz, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and strangely, AG William Barr’s father, Donald Barr.
Failure Of Explanations
I have a few times in my life knowingly and eagerly embraced a “conspiracy theory.” The reason of course, was because I could not accept the unbelievable government “explanations.” The first and second were the murders of JFK and RFK. I just have felt that the Kennedy brothers made some very powerful enemies. Their enemies believed the Kennedy’s were dangerous to the country.
It Doesn’t Need To Be True
Those first two theories were followed, fifty years later, by the 9/11 attacks. In this case I always felt it was an “inside job.” I mean, from the first televised plane’s impact. Prior to the 9/11 attack the Bush neo-cons were sounding a battle cry. All they needed was something visible. To offer verification and validation. So, voila, we have a deadly attack. Sort of like, “Remember the Maine” or Gulf of Tonkin. Two other fake events, that ignited war.
The Kremlin
Then of course, there was the 2016 election. In the case of the election I don’t think I need to explain my stubborn belief about Russian interference. This, combined with a possibly complicit third-party candidate, creates good reason to believe the Russians interference led to false election results.
Found Dead
And now one of the most expected, yet the most shocking events of this young century. Jeffrey Epstein found dead while in federal custody. Appalling and shocking. If the government has any responsibility when a person is incarcerated; it is their physical safety. An incarcerated person should be confident that they will live through the experience. It is expected that all inmates will be protected from harm by others, and self-harm. That was not the case for Jeffrey Epstein, the most high profile prisoner in modern memory.
The Communal Mind
Somewhere in the back of the collective national brain we knew that Epstein would never make it to trial. The communal mind wondered would it be murder, or assisted suicide. Not sure if anyone else has had the same bad dream as me, but I’m having serious doubts about Epstein’s ‘death by suicide” verdict. The Medical Examiner is calling it, “suicide by hanging”. Really?
Mr. Billionaire Pervert
I’m sure I am not alone in this thinking. It is a smoke and mirrors operation. Mr. Billionaire, sex trafficker and child rapist had many rich and powerful, friends. He used his money and influence for at least forty years to gain entrance to the seats of power. The Master of Manipulation has finally been out maneuvered. That doesn’t make his killers the good guys. Far from it.
Dark Dollars
It is important to remember that some people are too powerful to let their name and their bad behavior become common knowledge. These are people who won’t let a couple locked doors stop them. Especially, when a friend needs a little help with his planned “suicide”.
From Dimes To Dollars
Epstein reportedly spent hours out of his cell every day at the Manhattan Metropolitan Correction Center. How could that be, you wonder. He met endlessly with various legal “representatives.” I’m sure Epstein knew he was about to die. Did he talk to his attorneys about such a possibility? He had given ‘them’ no choice. During the last two weeks of his life Epstein bought himself hours out of his jail cell. What has become obvious is that Epstein wanted to be free of his cockroach infested jail cell. He was paying $1,500, or up, per hour in legal fees to meet with his attorneys in private meetings. I’m sure he would liken it to J. D. Rockefeller passing out dimes to street urchins.
Why Here?
Epstein was incarcerated in a federal facility that has a reputation for being chronically understaffed. That fact alone begs the question; why then was Epstein housed at the MMCC facility? It was intentional, I’m sure. In addition to staffing problems, the MMCC seems to be a place where rules are routinely ignored.
Suicide Watch?
The news was a bit confusing at first. Epstein had been on suicide watch after he was found two weeks ago unresponsive with bruises on his neck. We later learned a NY licensed psychiatrist had taken him off suicide watch at the end of July. If I were authorities, I would be checking that doctor’s bank account for unusual deposits.
And Then There Were 30 Minute Checks
Investigators have learned that Epstein was on 30 minute wellness checks. However, during at least the last 5 hours of his life there were no wellness checks. His overworked guards were asleep. At MMCC people are often assigned to jobs they are unqualified to perform. The prison administration consensus being, “any body, will do”. Security was so lax, I can imagine a ‘hit squad’ entered during the guards nap time to help Mr. Epstein with his needed “suicide.”
Serious Irregularities
Trump’s Attorney General, William Barr announced his self-righteousness disgust. With hands gripping a podium tightly he told a conservative audience in New Orleans, “we are now learning of serious irregularities at this facility that are deeply concerning and demand investigation”. Now that AG Bill Barr has bullied his way to the top of the investigative pyramid I am thoroughly convinced there is a major cover-up in progress. When we find out who had the most to lose, we will probably find the culprit.
Don’t hesitate to let me know how you feel about this topic. I’m always ready to listen to counter points.
