ICE Reporting Guidelines:

ICE Sightings: When reporting ICE sightings, REMEMBER S.A.L.U.T.Ε. Provide as much information as possible when reporting threats to our communities:

S as in Size/ Strength How many agents? How many vehicles? WRITE DOWN LICENSE PLATES

A as in Activity What you are seeing. Raid at a workplace, traffic stop? Is violence involved?

L as in Location What is the precise address? Intersections? Nearby landmarks?

U as in Uniform/Clothing What are they wearing? Do they have masks, vests, or badges?

T as in Time and Date Precise time and date of the sighting.

E as in Equipment/Weapons What equipment/weapons? Are they using them?

** Remember keep your whistle close and your cell phone camera ready. We need to draw attention to these masked  thugs and the more pictures and stories the better.

Below is a list of ICE sightings and stories regarding these occurrences in the Chicago area. This is our second report on ICE activities in the Chicago and surrounding communities for Calamity Politics. Instead of showing any interest in the running of our government, slowing inflation, protecting health care for American citizens, or ensuring that American children have enough food to eat, Trump is busy sending out ICE to arrest fast food workers, gardeners, maids, and wait staff. Most all are hard workers just trying to feed their families, not criminals, in fact, as it turns out, many arrested and hauled off by ICE are US citizens, or legal residents and green card holders. The billions of dollars wasted on this pathetic show of deportation raids and videos of Kristi Noem riding horses and playing Secretary of Homeland Security is disgusting. Remember, one in five children in America goes to bed hungry. It’s sad that Trump is more interested in gold toilets and distracting from the Epstein scandal than doing even the most basic work of a United States president.

Chicago Area Sightings of ICE

  1. Just a half a block away from our suburban Chicago home, ICE agents were spotted this last week.
  2. ICE claims they don’t pick up American citizens, yet Senator Tammy Duckworth said DHS is quoted as saying they, “…don’t arrest U.S. citizens for immigration enforcement,” yet at least 170 America citizens are well aware this is not the truth. Even if they detain and not actually arrest, it is detention; and their word play makes it even more outrageous.
  3. ICE were present, apprehending in the Chicago Andersonville neighborhood on Clark, between Balmoral and Berwyn. Vehicle license plate EAO 4638 from the state of Michigan.
  4. A friend that used to live next door to us texted that ICE agents were on the street directly behind our townhome this past weekend again in our Chicago suburb of Addison.
  5. Also here in our village at a supermarket near our home, ICE agents took two people into custody. The manager of the store did video tape the incident – one agent was wearing a balaclava-type hood with an American flag. The SUV’s window was broken by ICE during the arrest – the Immigration and Customs spokesperson claimed the occupants of the vehicle were uncooperative. A third passenger in the car showed a green card and was not taken into custody.
  6. Trump opens door for Hyundai to have skilled workers from South Korea return to the United States following ICE raids in our nation. The waste of money for all this nonsense is astronomical. Needless to say, there is also the issue of how stupid it looks.
  7. ICE certified a facility in McCook, Nebraska for conversion into a detention center. A lawsuit followed and a judge ruled the detention center conversion could happen despite citizen disapproval of Nebraska Department of Corrections actions, but the judge said the city’s law suit could continue.
  8. ICE agents were spotted recently at a Home Depot in the suburb of Oakbrook Terrace, Il.
  9. Reports claim there is talk of hiring another 10,000 more ICE agents. They are even advertising on local television.
  10. ICE officials are having to answer to a judge in Chicago regarding the conduct of ICE agents during multiple operations.
  11. A police officer in the Palatine suburb of Chicago assisted ICE agents struggling to detain an individual in the 1100 block of East Dundee Rd. The officer spoke to the person in Spanish and held their right arm while the detainee was already partially handcuffed. The Palatine Police Department claim state laws exist saying they are not required to assist ICE. The local ABC news affiliate showed video of this incident digitally.
  12. This past June protests erupted in Peoria, IL, regarding issues with ICE – there are alleged claims that ICE activity in the area is false news.
  13. Helicopters were surrounding the air space over Evanston, near Chicago, on Halloween.
  14. Helicopters and ICE agents were present in the Ukranian Village neighborhood of Chicago while families were trick or treating on Halloween.
  15. On Halloween of this year, chief patrol agent Greg Bovino and other federal agents detained a pair of men who were working on a home in the Chicago neighborhood of Edison Park – one was released upon viewing his proof of citizenship, but the other male was arrested under Operation Midway Blitz, Trump’s surge of “immigration enforcement” in the Chicago area, which still continues.
  16. A children’s Halloween parade in the Old Irving Park area of Chicago was disrupted by ICE agents conducting an operation and the federal agents were accused of using tear gas in response to a crowd of onlookers, with kids still in the area.
  17. A woman was apprehended in the Skokie area and unnecessarily hit in the face.
  18. A Chicago area CBP agent had a person down on the ground – in the process of detaining him, then hit him in the head for no apparent reason.
  19. A female day care worker was arrested at the school causing much controversy – she was followed there after an alleged attempted traffic stop. Ms. Santillana Galeano was temporarily held at the controversial ICE Broadview processing facility, prior to being taken to Indiana. Diana is spoken highly of by the daycare center where she is employed; she has an upcoming court date – her legal counsel claims the DHS arrested their client without a warrant and this violates the consent decree requiring agents to have said warrant when arresting certain people. Per ABC News, the attorneys also claim her work permit is valid through November 12, 2029. Her lawyer, Charlie Wysong, has filed to seek her release on bond under a habeas corpus petition. Local officials are claiming she was abducted in full view of her students.
  20. ICE was given a strident warning from Mamdani.
  21. Another publication states ICE actually conducted a raid on firefighters in the middle of battling a structure fire.
  22. The unchecked authority of the unjust, brutally dehumanizing, and severely broken ICE agency, continues to allow racism to attempt to destroy innocent lives. For example, Native American Leticia Jacobo was detained. Lt. Mark Chance of the Polk County Sheriff’s Department called this “silly” and a “little mixup” of “human error.” Lt. Chance went on to say, “We’ll have some meetings about it.” There isn’t anything “silly” about an attempt to deport a woman born on American soil. Many hours passed, while her family worked tirelessly for her release, to the point of showing up at the detention center with her birth certificate in hand, proving she is an American citizen. The 24-year-old Leticia was born in Phoenix, AZ, and is a member of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian community – her ancestors have been in our nation for thousands of generations. She was taken to the Polk County jail after being stopped for the allegation of driving on a suspended license. Erica Burns, Ms. Jacobo’s mother, was told by staff at the jail, “She’s not being released – ICE is coming to deport her.” They went on to say they were just holding her for ICE.  No one could explain why or how ICE was trying to send “back” to her country when she is from the U.S. God bless her family, whose fight would not allow her to disappear into the ICE detention system.
  23. In the Little Village neighborhood in Chicago, a man allegedly fired shots at the border patrol agents attempting immigration operations. A Chicago cop and child were said to have been injured during the incident.
  24. Ruben Torres was being held at an ICE facility in Clark County, IN – he is the father of a 16-year-old cancer patient. Judge Daniel ordered that a bond hearing be provided by the government; Mr. Torres was released on October 30th.
  25. The week of November 15th, CNN reported that a judge ordered hundreds of individuals taken into custody during the Illinois crackdown on immigration be released.
  26. Another 14 people were arrested at 10 am at the Broadview ICE facility two Fridays ago.
  27. A Chicago woman was allegedly shot by border patrol agents who accuse her of assaulting them with her vehicle. Allegedly the agent who fired the shots then drove her vehicle to the state of Maine.
  28. 21 people were said to have been arrested during clashes by agents with protesters at the Broadview ICE facility yesterday.
  29. A 67-year-old U.S. citizen was dragged out of his vehicle by ICE, interrupting his drive home – he sustained broken ribs.
  30. In Carpentersville, IL, with no warrant, ICE took three hard-working men that are not known to be criminals.
  31. Large scale operations in Chicago have caused much ICE controversy, with disbelief the raids are anti-terrorism strikes – allegedly the gang Tren de Aragua were targeted. Legal action and challenges in wealthy and residential neighborhoods have ensued.
  32. Per the Guardian, in Charlotte, NC, 81 individuals were arrested during immigration raids – the business districts which were thriving are now at a “standstill” during the holiday season.
  33. ICE has been making courthouse arrests in some places, but at least one state law prohibiting this practice has been upheld by an appellate judge.
  34. There are reports ICE will be, in essence, hiring bounty hunters – making payments of $300 to former law enforcement and military personnel to find immigrants to arrest.
  35. Nearly 98% of 614 immigrants that were detained in Chicago do not have criminal records – of these 614 individuals, only 16 showed any type of criminal history. There is finally talk from multiple sources of an impending drawdown of the ICE buildup in the northeastern Illinois area.
