50 Negative Trump Adjectives

Calamity Politics is happy to announce that I, Editor-in-Chief, the only Editor-in-Fact, am going to devote the entire first political blog post of the day to a really nasty game. The ‘game’ will not distract from my usual in-depth political coverage; that will come later. LOL. My regular readers know that the ‘in-depth’ description is probably a bit misleading. I’m decently polite and tend to shyness. Rarely do I attack. But this morning as I was driving back home from the Acupuncturist I started thinking about Donald J.Trump, 45th and 47th President of the United States, con-man, self-promoter and started tossing adjectives around in my head as I made the drive from Cannon Beach to my place at Surf Pines. By the time I’d made the thirty minute drive I’d come up with a new game.

So, this game is very simple. You must think of one word. It must be a negative adjective of Donald Trump (or anyone else for that matter), such as liar, or narcissist, or bully. Chose any word you like, then think of as many synonyms of that word as you can.

My Negative adjective for Trump is SWINDLER. What follows is the list of synonyms that I came up with for that word:
1.) cheat
2.) fraud
3.) crook
4.) grafter
5.) shyster
6.) hustler
7.) conman

8.) villain
9.) conniver
10.) rogue
11.) cheat
12.) charlatan
13.) cozener
14.) thief
15.) chiseler

16.) filcher
17.) robber
18.) gouger
19.) rascal
20.) criminal
21.) phony
22.) creep
23.) rat

24.) flimflammer
25.) bilker
26.) hypocrite
27.) pretender
28.) slicker
29.) gyp
30.) hustler
31.) heel
32.) hoser
33.) liar
34.) lowlife
35.) sneak

36.) SOB
37.) dishonest
38.) trickster
39.) imposter
40.) scoundrel
41.) grifter
42.) booster
43.) cheater
44.) pitchman
45.) dodger
46.) villain
47.) thug

48.) hoodlum
49.) manipulator
50.) opportunist

Fifty negative adjectives; even for Trump, that’s pretty impressive, if you ask me. If I had used double word descriptions such as confidence man, bunco artist, slick operator, flimflam man, I’m thinking I might have been able to come up with half a dozen more negative Trump adjectives. Wahoo.

One of the folks I argue with on X would summarily object to my ‘Game of the Day’. She, being a “good person” says we on the left are wrong to attack or belittle our president. The Republicans, never stoop to such levels, she claims. I remind her of Biden’s four years-and she laughs. So, despite, her warnings that I’m agitating the populace I carry forth. I do not mind attacking Trump, in fact I enjoy it immensely. The Orange One attacks anyone and everyone. He’s the bully. I feel no guilt, so I can approach him with the same attitude that he approaches all those who disagree with him. Slash and burn, take no prisoners. Call it as I see it, as low and dirty as that may be.

The Republicans just passed the biggest assault on health care in our nation’s history with the passing of  “Trump’s big beautiful bill”. Billionaires and corporations are supposedly getting a “permanent” tax break while SNAP benefits are destroyed and Medicaid and Medicare are hollowed out. Making the bill even more hideous is that in one felt swoop Trump & Allies have through massive funding created in ICE the world’s largest national police force. This legislation is as bad economically as it is morally.

As angry as I am, at this attack on the well being of the American people, I know if I try this little game again, I can probably come up with at least 100 negative adjectives for Donald J. Trump. This time I’ll  sure as hell use the double word descriptors.

I don’t know what ‘permanent’ means. I thought all it took was new legislation to change old legislation; I guess we need to have a blue wave to fill both chambers of the congress to find out.
