SILLY TRUMP WORD CHAIN
By D. S. Mitchell
Change Gears

Time to change gears, it’s Saturday afternoon
For at least a couple of hours every Saturday and Sunday I try to come up with fun distractions; for myself and my readers. So, it’s playtime again here at Calamity Politics. I love word chains. So today I have decided to play with some words, with a little politics thrown in for fun. Hope that doesn’t bother you. Of course, I know you love politics, or you wouldn’t be reading Calamity News and Politics.
Rod L. Evans, Word Magician
A word chain consists of a group of words arranged so that each word differs by only one letter from the words directly before and after it. So here we go. I have to admit that I cheated today and I am using Rod L. Evans, Ph.D. ‘Tyrannosaurus Lex’ for today’s’ game. Thanks, Mr. Evans. Please check out his several books on Amazon.
Game Time:
We can change lead to gold by changing one letter at a time, lead, load, goad, gold.
We can change less to more by changing one letter at a time, less, Tess, toss, moss, most, Mort, more.
We can change dog to cat by changing one letter at a time, dog, cog, cot, cat.
We can change find to lose by changing one letter at a time, find, fine, line, lone, lose.
We can change head to tail by changing one letter at a time, head, heal, teal, tell, tall, tail.
Easy Time Waster
Fun, huh? I just love word chains. Play around and see how many new ones you can come up with. An easy time waster.
A Bad Couple Weeks

The last couple weeks have been really hard. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed, but not for long
I have had a really bad couple of weeks. It doesn’t seem possible that the first inkling of the Ukraine scandal came less than two weeks ago. Watching snot run down Trump’s nose while demanding to know the identity of the whistleblower; I experienced a sense of doom. A chill ran up and down my spine as I watched the “leader of the free world” come apart at the seams on national television. Alarming, to put it mildly. I am shocked and appalled.
Option Overload
I have never experienced such sickening desperation. As the information has slowly leaked out, we now know that Trump has corrupted the Vice President of the United States, the Secretary of State, the Attorney General, and numerous ambassadors and envoys. I am not sure whether I should make protests signs and hit the street, live on Twitter, 24 hours a day, go to every Town Hall in Washington state during this Congressional break, personally respond to every @realDonaldTrump tweet, or just take a nap.
Just Kidding
The nap part is just a joke. No one can take a nap. No one can sit silently. It is the personal responsibility of every American, no matter what your political party, to reject Trump. The entire state department, the justice department and the White House have been implicated in a scheme to guarantee Trump’s re-election.
Destroy A Rival’s Reputation
Trump has gone overboard in his efforts to destroy the reputation of Joe Biden, his number one competitor. Imagine the entire machinery of the U.S. government working to destroy a candidate that is running against Trump. According to reports that is exactly what is happening. This is impeachable behavior. Asking Australia, the UK, Ukraine, and China to smear his political rival is beyond anything I have ever heard of.
Trump Word Chain
Keeping in the word chain theme, I wonder if Donald Trump can change prison to pardon by changing one letter at a time?
RESIST. CONFRONT. VOTE.
